Mr Thomas Satyadas

Mr. Satyadas is simply amazing! In May 2021 I underwent major surgery spending a total of (25 days) in hospital and from the initial consultation through to recovery his care and compassion were so evident. In January 2022 I needed surgery on several Hernis's which had originally appeared prior to my major surgery. Mr. Satyadas had planned my schedule of care throughout my health journey to ensure that the procedures were coordinated at appropriate junctures. He kept in touch with my family involving us all in the planning of my care. Any questions I had were patiently and precisely explained including some issues that arose regarding previous NHS blood tests which were technically not in his remit but as ever he was keen to reassure and provide an holistic approach to patient care. Following surgery he regularly visited to check that I was feeling ok and making progress. I am now on the way to resuming 'normal life' and cannot find the words to adequately express my thanks to Mr. Satyadas for his exemplary care and compassion to myself and my family from my first meeting with him in February 2021 throughout .

Great care and attention. After waiting for over three months and still not having been seen by a GP or Consultant to look at my hernia, I was fortunate enough to be able to make the decision to see Mr Satyadas privately. From contacting the hospital for an appointment up to actually going into theatre, it took just 9 days. Surgery was straight forward and Mr Satyadas explained every step of the procedure beforehand. Recovery was as predicted and after two weeks I am back to pre-hernia normality. Not too much lifting for a few weeks more though:-) Thank you again Mr Satyadas and the theatre team.

Thomas has been simply brilliant from the moment I spoke with him to all our post care interactions. Not only did he do a fantastic job with my liver resection, he was supportive and incredibly empathetic, not only to me but my family also. He is the epitome of going above and beyond. He was always in contact with my wife to keep her updated and ensured we have been supported as a family. A truly first class experience all round.

I cannot fault the care I received from start to finish from Dr Satyadas. From my first appointment to my hernia operation I was treated as a valued patient and all of my concerns were listened to and dealt with quickly and professionally. The care I received was exceptional and could not be faulted.

I have been waiting a while for a Hernia Operation through the NHS and I was referred to the Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle and Thomas Satyades. The speed that the hospital were able to arrange my visit and the actual surgery was amazing. I was very nervous prior to my Hernia Surgery and have to say Thomas Satyadas was so reassuring and professional he put my mind to rest. From the pre op appointment at the Alexandra Hospital to the actual Operation at the Hospital itself and then the post Op visit I cannot recommend him enough. He took time to sit and explain the operation with me on the morning it took place and really put my mind to rest. After the Operation he once again came to talk to me. If you are lucky enough to be referred to him or are able to choose him for your operation, you are in safe expert hands
